MARINA & HUGO
PAINTED WITH LIGHT
A Solar de Pancas wedding
“Painted With Light” is the story of this Solar de Pancas summer wedding.
When two souls unite in the most charming of settings, it creates a story that is both enchanting and memorable. Such was the case for Marina and Hugo, who celebrated their civil wedding on a scorching summer’s day at the splendid Solar de Pancas, nestled in the heart of Alenquer. The ceremony took place in the picturesque garden of this historical venue, setting the stage for a truly dreamy wedding.
Preparations full of laughter and love
The wedding festivities kicked off with Marina’s bridal preparations, and it was a sight to behold. Accompanied by her lovely bridesmaids, she was surrounded by laughter and the warmth of cherished friendships.
The light coming in from the window in her dressing room made the whole scene look like a painting. And Marina, with her radiant smile and glowing beauty, was the epitome of a bride deeply in love, ready to take the next step in her journey with Hugo. These preparations were a glimpse into the happiness that awaited her on this special day.
A dreamy garden ceremony
Solar de Pancas, with its house adorned in ivy, provided the perfect backdrop for Marina and Hugo’s civil wedding. With the deep blue sky and the scorching June sun as witnesses, the couple exchanged their vows in a magical garden setting. The surroundings were simply breathtaking, with the greenery of the trees and the ivy-clad house creating a stunning backdrop.
Friends and family gathered to witness this special moment, and their faces showed the joy and happiness that radiated from Marina and Hugo. This was not just a legal union; it was a celebration of true love, a commitment to a life shared, and a promise to face all of life’s challenges hand in hand.
Cake & Bouquet of during the cocktail hour
Following the ceremony, the guests were treated to a lively cocktail hour. Music, animated conversations, and laughter filled the air, creating an atmosphere of celebration and togetherness. It was the perfect time to share stories, make toasts, and create lasting memories.
One of the highlights of the cocktail was the cake cutting moment. Unlike typical weddings they decided to have the cutting of the cake before dinner, to everyone’s surprise. They didn’t want to leave the cake for last, as that would probably mean interrupting the party. They wanted everyone to dance the night away.
And, of course, we can’t forget the bouquet toss. Marina, with grace and elegance, threw the bouquet to a group of single ladies. It fell right in the hand of one of her bridesmaids…
A quiz to remember their first date
As the night descended, the fun and joy showed no signs of slowing down. After dinner, a quiz was organized to entertain the guests. With questions designed to test their knowledge and creativity, the quiz made the evening even more special and unforgettable. The atmosphere of laughter prevailed, leaving everyone with lasting memories of Marina and Hugo’s wedding. After the quiz, Marina danced with her father and the dance floor was officially opened after her dance with Hugo. Like they had planned, everyone joined in.
May their life be an adventure filled with tight hugs and shared moments. And may the beauty and magic of their wedding at Solar de Pancas continue to shine as a beacon of love and happiness on their shared journey.
