“Love is free” is the story of this engagement photoshoot in Adraga Beach, a love story between two beautiful women.

Some love stories unfold with such natural grace, they feel like they were always meant to be. That’s exactly how it feels with Kimberly and Thalya.

Kimberly, from the U.S., and Thalya, from Puerto Rico, share a deep passion for travel and exploration. Portugal had long been on their list of dream destinations.

That morning, on a quiet, rain-kissed day, Kimberly proposed. Thalya said yes. And just like that, their adventure took on a new meaning.

Despite the gloomy weather earlier in the day, we knew this was our only chance to make it happen. So instead of rushing, we met at a cozy café near Praia da Adraga, a rugged and soulful gem tucked along Portugal’s wild Atlantic coastline. We took our time—sharing stories, cultural curiosities and warmth—waiting out the last of the clouds.

The waves were powerful, the cliffs majestic, and the breeze carried a gentle salt-kissed energy. Kimberly and Thalya stepped into that moment with ease — barefoot and beaming, holding onto each other like the rest of the world had melted away. They walked hand in hand, danced along the shoreline, and filled every frame with authenticity and joy. There was no need for posing—their connection flowed so freely that every image felt like I wasn’t even there…Their laughter was contagious. Their energy, magnetic. I found myself swept into their love story, smiling behind the lens, completely enchanted by the beauty unfolding in front of me.

A celebration of love, of finding your person, of choosing each other in one of the most breathtaking places in Europe.That afternoon reminded me of why I do what I do. Love like Kimberly and Thalya’s doesn’t just photograph well—it radiates. It dances. It fills the air with light and invites everyone nearby to believe in it.Praia da Adraga gave us more than a setting—it gave us a memory that none of us will ever forget. As the tide rolled in and the sun dipped lower, every golden frame whispered something timeless.
