Spring has arrived. With it, an abundance of flowers. It’s only normal that all the brides planning their wedding start thinking about their bouquet. Not only are they part of the wedding tradition, but also symbolize love. That’s why I’ve compiled some wedding bouquet ideas from the weddings I photographed, in order to give you some inspiration for your own.
It’s true there are numerous flowers and tons of wedding bouquet inspiration photos online. However, that can be overwhelming, so here are a few guidelines to take into account when looking for the best bridal bouquet inspiration.
Choose your wedding dress before the bouquet. This may seem quite obvious. But the truth is, there’s no point in thinking about the bouquet if you still haven’t chosen your wedding dress, mainly because the wedding bouquet is supposed to balance the bride’s look. So, if you go for a busier wedding dress (with lace or sparkly beads) you should think about considering a simple wedding bouquet. The same happens the other way around.
In which month are you getting married? Always think about what flowers are easier to find considering the season you’re getting married in. Getting married in June can provide you with a wider flower option than getting married in October, for instance. Not only are some flowers easier to find, but they also may be cheaper to buy.
Wedding pantone and decoration. Your bouquet doesn’t have to be an exact match of your wedding decor, but it should be in alignment with the colour scheme you chose.
Consult with a florist. No one understands flowers, trends and flower availability better than a florist. So make sure to clear all your doubts with a florist. She will undoubtedly help you in your decision-making process.

Blue, dark orange, purple or champagne flowers go well with every other colour or each other and usually compose a visually rich bouquet, because of the different tones..
